EAP: When Configuring Email Notification For Multiple Definitions Under the Same Process ID, the Changes Done in One Approval Process Definition Starts Reflecting in the Other Approval Process Definition as Well

Symptoms
When configuring Email Notification for multiple Definitions under the same process id, the changes done on one Approval Process definition starts reflecting on the other approval process definition as well.
Steps:
1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Notifications > Notification Administration:
- Click on Global Settings and Ensure Email is Checked.
- Click on Notification Settings > select to Configure EOAW and Select “Available” and “Enable by Default for "InApp" and "Email".
2. Navigate to Enterprise Components > Approvals > Approval Process Set Up:
- Select Process ID: Requisition and click Search.
- Consider 2 active definition IDs: Eg. US001 & US100.
3. Open Definition ID: US001.
4. Click on “Notification Definition” link - Notice Notification Name is blank:
- Select Event as “Route for Approval”.
- Participant as Requester.
- Keep Notification Name as blank.
6. Click on OK and Save.
7. Now, Open Definition ID: US100.
8. Click on Definition Notifications link:
- Select Event as “Route for Approval”.
- Participant as “Approvers”.
- Notification Name as “EOAW”.
9. Click on Save.
10. Now reopen US001 definition.
11. Click on “Definition Notifications”:
- Notice that “EOAW” is showing as “Notification Name” automatically - This is not expected as intention is US001 approvers should not be receiving email.
