Last updated on FEBRUARY 28, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM eBenefits - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

'Hide if no choice' display option is not resulting in intended plan type display behavior on configurable benefit statement.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Add Exception for Plan Type NN to the Benefit Statement Template with “Hide only if no choice” display option. Navigation: Set Up HCM =>Product related => Base Benefits => Benefits Statement Template.
  2. Add eligibility rule for Plan Type NN to make Employee A ineligible for this plan type. Navigation: Set Up HCM => Automated Benefits => Eligibility and Event Rules => Eligibility Rules Table.
  3. Run BenAdmin to prepare an event.
  4. Sign in as Self Service Employee A User and go to the Fluid Benefits Enrollment. Notice that there is no Plan Type NN tile.
  5. Elect a different Medical Plan or make any other election and click 'Submit Enrollment' button.
  6. Click View and check Election Summary.
  7. Election Summary shows Plan Type NN.
