GPES: The Common Contingencies (CC) Base and the Professional Contingencies (CP) Base is Higher Than the Maximum Base Limit in Segmentation Changes (Doc ID 2973291.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Global Payroll Spain - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a Full-time employee is having a Leave in a month because they changed the CCC (Employer Social Security Number), but they still work the entire month for 30 days, the bases calculation is higher than the top in one of the stages. The top is being calculated on a monthly basis and not by tranches.

To avoid the problem, the Variable SS VR TRATA DIARIO is forced to Y and the CC base is corrected, but the CP is still Higher than the top in one of the tranches because it is quoting the pending amount until it reaches the total monthly limit.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Navigate to Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data: The Employee is changing the CCC (Employee Social Security Number) in April effective dated 15 APR 2023
2. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Payee Data > Create Overrides > Supporting Elements
Add the Variable SS VR TRATA DIARIO - Monthly Employee - 01.04.2023 - 30/04/2023
3. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Social Security/Insurance > Cret@ Individual Data ESP
4. Run the following SQL
SELECT * FROM PS_GPES_CRT_LQ_EE WHERE CAL_ID = '00001 2023-04 NOM' and emplid ='004233' AND GPES_SSTC_PAYMNT = 'L00' AND GPES_CRT_PRINT_FLG <> 'N'
order by cal_run_id, cal_id, slice_bgn_dt, gpes_crt_data_type, gpes_Crt_code;
