EPY: When Assigning the Additional Assignment to the Employee with the Same Tax Location Code in Add Additional Assignment Page, Warning Message Occurs: “Employee tax data will not be automatically updated for this employee. (2000,938)” (Doc ID 2973782.1)

Symptoms

When assigning the additional assignment to the Employee with the same tax location code, after applying the BUG 33952694, the Payroll Administrator receives the below warning message:

 Steps to reproduce the issue:

1.Navigator > Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data

-employee tax data page: EE have effdt (02/03/2023) row – Added Manually

2.Navigator > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Add Additional Assignment

- add Additional Assignment page: Add Concurrent Job for EE for effdt 02/06/2023 with same Tax Location Code

- Tax Location code is same as Job data page Tax Location Code

3.Navigator > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data

- same Tax Location Code

Click Save. Page saved successfully.

4.Navigator > Payroll for North America > Employee Pay Data USA > Tax Information > Update Employee Tax Data

- EE Tax data page: Effdt 02/06/2023 row is not inserted because Tax Location code is not different for Empl Rcd 1

5.Navigator > Workforce Administration > Job Information > Add Additional Assignmen

- Add Additional Assignment page: Add Concurrent Job for EE for effdt 02/03/2023 with same Tax Location Code (same effdt as EE tax data page)

- Tax Location Code is same as Job Data page Tax Location Code

6. Notice the above warning message occurs.

 Issue encountered after applying Patch 33952694 - CANNOT SAVE JOB WHEN POSITION IS CHANGED SAME EFFDATE AND DIFFERENT TAX LOCATION.
