Requisition Available for Cancellation Even After Requisition Is Sourced To Inventory Stock Request Which Was Fulfilled. (Doc ID 2977595.1)

When requisition is created and sourced to inventory. An inventory stock request order is created which is fulfilled (reserved, confirmed, shipped and depleted). After the stock request was depleted, open the requisition to see that the requisition line is still available for cancellation.


1. Enable Commitment Control for Inventory and Purchasing on the Installation page.
     Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options
2. Create a requisition with Source to Inventory option selected.
     Purchasing > Requisitions > Add/Update Requisition
3. Run the Reserve Material process to reserve the order request
     Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Stock Requests > Reserve Materials Process
4. Run the Order Release Request process
     Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Picking > Order Release Request
5. Confirm the order using the Material Picking Feedback page
     Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Picking > Material Picking Feedback
6. Ship and Deplete the order
     Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Shipping > Shipping and Issue Transaction
     Inventory > Fulfill Stock Orders > Shipping > Deplete on Hand Quantity
7. Open the Requisition and cancel the line now.
     Purchasing > Requisitions > Add/Update Requisition
