Maintain Schedule of Classes Search Page Returns Different Results Depending On Language Selected at Login (Doc ID 2979302.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2023

Symptoms

On the Maintain schedule of classes page, a search might return different values depending on the language selected at login.  Compared to search results in English, not all other languages return different search results.  However, sometimes when searching (using a specific catalog number for instance) for a class missing in the English language, the class is returned in the search results with the other language, or vice versa.

Class Search should return the same number of classes regardless of the language used.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login with language = English.
  2. Navigate to Curriculum Management > Schedule of Classes > Maintain Schedule of Classes.
  3. Search current Term with Subject and Campus.
  4. Make note of Class count.
  5. Login with language not = English.
  6. Navigate to the Schedule of Classes.
  7. Search current Term with Subject and Campus.
  8. Make note of Class count, does not match results in step 4.
