E-OpenS: OpenSearch Dashboard Is Not Responding To Requests-"xxxxxx.xxxx.xxx took too long to respond" (Doc ID 2979944.1)

Symptoms


OpenSearch and OpenSearch Dashboard are installed successfully on PeopleTools 8.60.07. Search on OpenSearch works fine but OpenSearch Dashboard is not responding and gives an error. This environment is not load balanced, no SSL.


The OSCluster.log (OpenSearch_HOME/logs) registers this message-

[2023-09-20T09:01:52,791][WARN ][o.o.t.LoggingTaskListener] [xxx.xxx.xxx] 31xxxxx failed with exception
org.opensearch.index.mapper.StrictDynamicMappingException: mapping set to strict, dynamic introduction of [cancelled] within [task] is not allowed
