E-MCF/SEC: When Retrieving an OAuth2 Token, an Error "Need Admin Approval" is Returned by Microsoft Azure (Doc ID 2980548.1)

When retrieving an OAuth2 Token from PeopleSoft application, the following error is returned by Microsoft Azure.


Need admin approval

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to PIA.

2. Navigate to PeopleTools > Security > Oauth2 Administration > Retrieve Oath2 Access Token.

3. Click Access Token.

4. Observe a popup page from Microsoft Azure showing the error "Need admin approval".
