Symptoms

Global Payroll or Absence process (GPPDPRUN) aborts with error similar to the following:

Object Code error : file '/psoft92/hcm92/cblbin/GPPDPDM9.gnt'
error code: 153, pc=0, call=1, seg=0
153     Subscript out of range (in GPPDPDM9.cbl, line 589)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Main Menu>Global Payroll and Absence Management>Absence and Payroll Processing>Calculate Absence and Payroll.
  2. Enter run control information and process.
  3. Program fails and the above error is displayed in the log file.

 

Changes

Users find these issues occur after having run the GP Pin Packager utility to add/delete/modify custom PINs.
