HCM: HR_CMP007 did not Insert Job Data Rows with an Effective Date for the Beginning of the Current Pay Period, But Used the Wrong Date to Insert a Job Data Row (Doc ID 2982378.1)

Symptoms

HR_CMP007 did not insert job data rows with an effective date for the beginning of the current pay period, but used the wrong date to insert a Job data row.
 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps

  1. Select or add the run control to enter into the page.

      Navigation: Main Menu>Compensation>Base Compensation>Maintain Plans>Automated Step Increment

  2. Select the Action and Action Reason for the new step increment rows to get insert into the job data.

  3. Select the check box “Update Future Rows” to apply the new step changes to the future rows.

  4. Select the Step increment type as “Date Based”

  5. Select the Dates range to pick the UIN’s from which we have to consider.

  6. Select the radio button Process by“Sal admin plan”

  7. Select the Business unit and Sal admin plan to process step increment based on Sal Admin Plan.

  8. Click the Run

  9. Run the Application Engine“HR_CMP007” to identify and process the step increment and the identified rows will get inserted into the temp table. 

  10. Run the SQR “CMP007” to get the detail lists of automated step increment details which have been processed. The data will get from the temp

        table from the previous step.

  11. Once the data is been verified, can load the data into job table  by running the process“HR_SP_CI”.
