Symptoms

When attempting to add or update records on the TCSI Commonwealth Scholarships Page, the following error occurs when attempting to save the page:

Class Record method GetField field PREF_LAST_NAME is invalid. (2,273) HCR_NAME.NameFormat.OnExecute Name:ClearUnusedNameFields PCPC:5787 Statement:101
Called from:HCR_NAME.NameFormat.OnExecute Name:FormatName Statement:186
Called from:HCR_NAME.NameFormat.OnExecute Name:ValidateName Statement:362
Called from:NAMEGBL_SBR.NAME.SaveEdit Statement:26

The field name has been used as a parameter of the specified method. It is not valid for the current object.

Use the PeopleCode Debugger or a PeopleCode trace to determine the point of the error, and correct the program.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to  Records and Enrolment > Enrolment Reporting > AUS Regulatory Reporting > TCSI Commonwealth Scholarships.
  2. Choose 'Add' and populate the data on the search page and main page.
  3. Click 'Save' button after completing entry, and note the error displayed on the page.
