(Doc ID 2987216.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 25, 2024
Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On Maintain Application 2024-2025, if an IM Extension Record is first populated, clicking the 'INAS' button will result in a pop-up error box displaying the page, and the IM EFC does not calculate.
In some cases, the pop up error is reported to display simply "400 Bad Request (0,0)". In other cases, a more detailed message is reported - beginning with 'Response Status = {"statusCode":400,"Error Message"."Invalid Input', followed by references to several Fields and 'Error:must NOT have additional properties.', and finally ending with (14140,25).
The use of the 'Override Institutional EFC' option is one common instance where the issue has been reported to occur, however the issue is not specific to just 'Override Institutional EFC' and will happen in every case that an IM extension record has been entered, for any purpose.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 2024-2025.
- Click the 'IM' link and enter a value in the 'Option Rule Set' field and enter or update any other desired parameters on the page or on any of the other linked sub-pages.
- Once entry is completed, click 'OK' button(s) to go back to the main component page, then click 'INAS' button and note the error displayed.
Changes
The issue occurs after applying PRP 35266241 - 2024-2025 Aid Year Setup for Institutional Methodology (IM), which first delivered the ability to calculate the IM EFC for Aid Year 2024-2025.
