Entering Option Rule Set on the Inas Institutional Extension 1 Page for Aid Year 2024-2025 Results in Automatically Populating Values for Various Fields no Longer on Global Options Setup, Overriding the Values Defined in College Board NAO IM INAS Cloud

Symptoms
On the Maintain Application 2024-2025 component, when entering an Option Rule Set on the Inas Institutional Extension 1 Page, various fields on that page and the other Extension pages have values populated by default, which is problematic for two main reasons.
First, the fields that are populated by default are no longer available to be defined on the NA 2024-2025 Global Options component, so it is not clear how the values are derived or where they are coming from. Second, and more importantly, the values automatically populated may not match the actual values intended to be used for those option fields, which are now specified on the NAO IM INAS Cloud at the College Board. The end result is the Extension values may replace the values specified on the NAO IM INAS Cloud, resulting in an incorrect or unexpected change to the calculated Estimated Family Contribution (EFC).
With the various and many IM options now defined with the College Board and not in the setup pages in CS, IM extensions should not be populating in such a way that might override the intended setup values and result in a different EFC than is expected.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Navigate to Maintain Application 2024-2025 for a student who has had IM previously calculated (correctly) based on the IM options defined on the NAO IM INAS Cloud at the College Board.
- Click the 'IM' link, enter a value in the Option Rule Set field field, tab out of the field, and observe many of the values on the 5 different pages have populated by default.
- Compare the fields populated by default against the Set up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > Application Processing > NA 2024-2025 Global Options component, and note many of the fields are no longer available to be defined on the setup. One such example would be the 'Use Which Available Income Table', which automatically defaults to a value of 'Use Expanded AI Table', without this field or value defined on the NA 2024-2025 Global Options component.
- Go back to the main page, click the 'INAS' button, and note the Calculated Contribution and other values have changed from the previous calculation on the Computation Summary tab and in Need Summary.
Changes
The issue occurs after applying PRP 35266241 - 2024-2025 Aid Year Setup for Institutional Methodology (IM), which first delivered the ability to calculate the IM EFC for Aid Year 2024-2025.
