Symptoms

When turned on Fluid will allow users to add a new address to their graduation application only if it has a future effect date.

If the user adding a new address for an existing address type (rather than a new address type) both addresses for the address type the user has added will be selected as YES to be used in Graduation Correspondence.

If the user attempts to turn off the older effective dated row,  the message:
"You are unselecting an address type that you just added. Choose Yes to discard the address type you just added, Choose NO to cancel and retain your new address".

If the user chooses 'YES' the new address is deleted.
If the user chooses  "NO'  both rows will be set to 'YES'
but the user can continue on with the graduation application.

The user should be able to add a new address with today's effective date and the the older effective dated row should no longer display and confuse users.

The issue can be replicated with the following steps:

1. Find a student that has one mailing address in the demo database.
2. Add the data change row with today's effective date
on the Student degree tab mark the student 'eligible for graduation'
Records and Enrollment > Career and Program Information > Student Program Plan.
3. Log into self service as the student.
4. Click the Academic Records tile and "Application for Graduation" on the left menu.
Walking thru the activity guide that opens
5. Step 1; Select the program you wish to graduate from.  (you will have set one in step 2 above)
6. Step 2:   Take the default name
7. Step 3:  On the address Step Mark  the existing address displayed to NO and click ADD to add a new row for the address type that is displaying.  Populate the new address with todays effective date.
8.  Note the error that you can only use a future effective date.
9. Modify the effective date for your address to tomorrow and save.
10 Note that both rows for the address type are selected for YES at this time. (even though you had already turn the older row to NO)
11.Turn off the old address again and get the message "You are unselecting an address type that you just added. Choose Yes to discard the address type you just added, Choose NO to cancel and retain your new address".
12 Confirm the YES option  and see your new address disappear.
13.Turn the old address off again and add your new address again with the future effective date.
14.  Note that both address are again set to YES.
15.  Turn off the old address and see the message "You are unselecting an address type that you just added. Choose Yes to discard the address type you just added, Choose NO to cancel and retain your new address"
16.  Select  NO this time  and see both addresses exist and are set to Y.
17. Step 4:  Move to the next step of the activity guide and note that you can continue thru all remaining steps and submit successfully.
