Symptoms
Employer non-taxable health benefit deductions not taken on paycheques with insufficient pay where employee after-tax deductions in arrears. This is a high impact issue found during PUM 47 Tax Update 23-C testing with
Patch Number 31939247.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run Calculate Pay for an employee with very few hours.
Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing CAN > Produce Payroll > Calculate Payroll
2. Review the employee’s paycheque health benefit deductions (Plan Type 11 Dental, Plan Type 13 Extended Health)
Navigation: Payroll for North America > Payroll Processing CAN > Produce Payroll > Review Paycheque . Paycheque Deductions tab
Non-taxable employer paid deduction NOT taken.
