E-PORTAL: "Recently Visited" List Does Not Show the Items That Were Visited From 'My Favorites' in PT 8.60 (Doc ID 2989984.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 29, 2023

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise PT PeopleTools - Version 8.60 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The "Recently Visited" list does not show the items that were visited from the "My Favorites" Link in PT 8.60.

If the record in the backend - PS_PT_PORTAL_MRU - is purged, it works fine for the first time and reoccurs.

Note: The catch is that the issue only replicates when accessing "My Favorites" from Fluid Header. When it is accessed from "Navbar", it works fine and adds the page to the "Recently Visited" list.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

1. Click on the "Recently Visited" icon in PT 8.60.
2. Review the list of items in the "Recently Visited" page.
3. Add "Process Monitor" to your Favorites list.
4. Click on the Fluid Header > Favorites icon and select "Process Monitor".
5. Click on the "Recently Visited" icon.
6. Note that "Process Monitor" is not displayed in the Recently Visited list.
