Applies to:
PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
After applying CS 9.2 PUM 30, the IM INAS Calculation does not use the Global option: Uee FM contribution as the minimum IM contribution. This option worked in CS 9.2 PUM29 as expected.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set Up SACR > Product Related > Financial Aid > Application Processing > NA 2023-2024 Global Options
2. Select the Use FM Contribution as Minimum IM Contribution' in the Yes/No Options tab for both the parent and student and save the update.
3. Navigate to Financial Aid -> Institutional Application Data -> Maintain 2023-2024 Data and for a student click the INAS button.
4. When the calculation returns, click on the Need Summary link and confirm that the EFC listed is the sum of the parent and student calculated contribution in the EFM Column on the Computation Summary tab and that the EFM value is the same as the IM Base and IM w/Options Calculated Contribution. If an ISIR exists for the student, the value from the ISIR will be used.
Changes
CS 9.2 PUM30 delivered Institutional Processing for the 2024-2025 Aid Year. Additionally, Patch 35266241 - 2024-2025 AID YEAR SETUP FOR INSTITUTIONAL METHODOLOGY (IM) delivered changes to the IM Calculation
