EEX 9.2: Approved Expense Report With Only Prepaid Lines Does Not Update To Paid Status (Doc ID 2992721.1)

Symptoms

On an expense report with only prepaid lines, on approval, it does not get updated to paid status.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login as VP1
2. Note the HR supervisor of KU0021 employee is KU0005 (Travel and Expenses -
Manage Employee Data - Update Employee Data)
3. Authorize EXA1 to edit and submit expense reports for KU0021 (Travel and
Expenses - Manage Expense Security - Authorize Expense Users)
4. Make sure only HR Supervisor approval is selected (Setup Financials / Supply Chain -
Product Related - Expenses - Management - Approval Setup - Map Approval Trans
Definition)
5. For user EXA1, add KU0021 as the employee (PeopleTools - Security - User Profiles - User Profiles)
6. For user EXS1, add KU0005 as the employee (PeopleTools - Security - User Profiles - User
Profiles). Add Approvals_Fluid role to the user
7. Log out as VP1 and login as EXA1
8. Create and submit an expense report with 2 lines (prepaid and check payment forms)(Home- Employee Self Service - Expenses - Create Expense Reports)
9. Log out as EXA1 and login as EXS1
10.Approve the submitted expense report (Home - Employee Self Service - Approvals). Observe that after approval, the expense report status updated to Approved for Payment.
11.Modify the approved expense report to delete the check payment line and leave only the prepaid expense line (Travel and Expenses - Approve Transactions - Modify Approved Transactions) Save. The status still is approved for payment and not updated to paid.
