Symptoms

Push Notifications failed to work with below error when IIS proxy server is used in PeopleSoft application. Below error is seen from Tuxedo log (tuxlog.####) found under PS_CFG_HOME/appserv/Database Name/Logs

LIBTUX_CAT:1278: ERROR: Cannot join application - permission denied
LIBTUX_CAT:1278: ERROR: Cannot join application - permission denied
LIBTUX_CAT:1278: ERROR: Cannot join application - permission denied
CMDTUX_CAT:3128: ERROR: tpacall() to svc EventHandler failed for event PRCSEVENTS tperrno=6
!TMUSREVT.113015.3114324480.0: CMDTUX_CAT:3128: ERROR: tpacall() to svc EventHandler failed for event PRCSEVENTS tperrno=6


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to application

2. Configure Push notifications

3. Test Push notifications.
