EAP: Invalid VAT Registration ID (7450, 15) Error for Spain Supplier When Entering VAT Registration ID Starting With Z (Doc ID 2993846.1)

Symptoms

For a Spain Supplier, when trying to enter a VAT Registration ID starting with a Z on the Supplier > Identifying Information > VAT Registration link > VAT Registration page, an error occurs.

STEPS
1. Navigate to Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier
2. Display a Spain Supplier
3. On the Identifying Information page, click the Registration link
4. On the VAT Registration Details page
  a. Country = ESP
  b. VAT Registration ID = Zxxxxxxxx
5. Click OK
6. Above error occurs
