TCSI Notification Process Not Downloading Current Notifications As Needed (Doc ID 2994745.1)

The following are the issues with the delivered TCSI Notification Process:

• The process checks SSR_HM_NOTIF and will only download notifications if they haven’t already been downloaded previously. It is not possible to identify the ‘current’ notifications if some of the notifications still available on TCSI are not downloaded because they were downloaded earlier.
• There is a gap between the ‘Get Current Notifications’ (where categories can be selected) and ‘Get All Notifications’ (where categories cannot be selected but notifications can be downloaded regardless of read/unread status).
• Notification types that are current by being on the TCSI server regardless of read/unread status (SVE, USI, TFN etc) cannot be downloaded without re-downloading every other notification in categories that determine current based on an unread status (e.g. CHA).
