Message 'Highlighted Fields Are Required (15,30)' Occurs When Saving A Person Comment from the View Customer Account Page (Doc ID 2997378.1)

Symptoms

After applying maintenance from the current Campus Solutions image, an error occurs when adding a Comment on the View Customer Account page. After the error is displayed initially, clicking OK, and clicking Save again will successfully save the page.

This error did not occur on the previous Campus Solutions image.

The message 'Highlighted fields are required (15,30)
Enter the data into the highlighted fields.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to View Customer Accounts;
  2. Select a student;
  3. Click on the Comments Icon Person Comment Entry/Comment Entry;
  4. Add a comment;
  5. Click Save;
  6.  The message is displayed;
  7. Click OK;
  8. Click Save;
  9. The message disappears, and the comment is saved.




Changes

In one example, this issue occurred after applying maintenance from Campus Solutions 9.2 PUM 30.
