E-AWE: Reason Codes are Not Populating Comments in Fluid Workflow if Effective Date is Later Than '01/01/1900' (Doc ID 2997473.1)

Symptoms

On the Fluid Approval pages, when the approver clicks on the "Deny" or "Request More Information" button and chooses a Reason Code, the descriptions will not copy to the comment unless the effective date of the reason code is 01/01/1900. Issue started after upgrading to FSCM 9.20 PUM 47. This issue affects the Fluid workflow page and all Process IDs wherever there is a Reason Code option.

Environment:

Sample replication:
------------------

1. Create two Reason Codes with Effective Dates: '1/10/2024' and '01/01/1900' respectively.
Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definitions > Create Reason Code

2. Register a new Supplier and Submit.
Suppliers > Supplier Registration > Register Suppliers

3. Review and Submit for Approval.
Suppliers > Supplier Registration > Review or Edit Registration

4. Log in as the Approver (VP2) in this case, go to Approval Tile.

5. Select the newly submitted Supplier Regsitration.

6. Click Deny.

7. Choose Reason Code with Eff date '1/10/2024'.
Comment is blank.

8. Choose Reason Code with Eff date '01/01/1900'.
Comment is displayed/shown.

Changes

FSCM PUM 47 upgrade.
