E-PIA: Changes in Rich Text Editors can not be Saved After Upgrading To CKEditor v5 (Doc ID 2997888.1)

Symptoms

The site is on PT8.59.22 and Campus Solution 9.2.30. With PT8.59.16 or above, CKEditor v5 is introduced. Please refer to PeopleSoft Applications Updates and Fixes for Rich Text Editor Based on CKEditor v5 (Doc ID 2930857.1) for details.

Users can not save changes in Rich Text Editors.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to PeopleTools > Security > Password Configuration > Forgotten Password Email Text.

2. Make some changes.

3. Save.

4. Observe the changes are not saved.
