Last updated on JUNE 13, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Student Records - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Transfer Subject Area, after inserting a new effective dated row with new Min/Max Units and/or Min/Max Grade Pts. per Unit, those new values (different from previous effective dated row) are not populating into newly added sequences on the Subject Area Elements tab.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Transfer Subject Area (Records and Enrollment > Transfer Credit Rules > Transfer Subject Area).
2. Search for an existing record
3. Notice this entry has only one effective-dated row, and the Min Units and Min Grade Pts. Per Unit are 0.00
4. Create a New Effective Dated Row and add in Min/Max hours that are greater than 0 and Save
5. Select the Subject Area Elements tab on this new effdt row and navigate to Last entry.  Delete that entry and save.
6. Insert a new row. Click on Incoming Course Information.
7. The Min Units and Max Units are showing zero instead of the component defaults
