Several Fields in Aid Year 2024-2025 ISIR File ISIR25OP are Mapped to the Wrong Corresponding Fields in the ISIR_00 Staging Tables After Running Import Federal Data Files (FA_INBOUND) (Doc ID 2999174.1)

Last updated on APRIL 17, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise CS Financial Aid - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After running the Import Federal Data Files FA_INBOUND application engine process to load a 2024-2025 ISIR file (ISIR25OP), several fields in the file are found to have been mapped to the wrong fields in the staging tables. A spreadsheet with the current mapping is linked at the attachments section at the end of this document.

The mapping from file to staging is expected to be correct for every field, otherwise the fields will also not load correctly to the application tables.

The list of fields being mapped incorrectly includes the following:

There are also four 'Date Consent Granted' fields that are not populating in staging at all. For more detail on the issue with these fields, see Note 3001225.1.

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid > File Management > Import Federal Data Files > FA Inbound and run the process for a ISIR25OP file.
  2. Query the data populated in ISIR_00_1_EC and ISIR_00_2_EC to confirm any discrepancies. Use the current version of the file mapping spreadsheet linked in Note 2870029.1 for the file to table field comparisons.
Note: when testing this process, it is very important to be using a file in the correct format. The FSA test file, dated from December, has been verified to NOT be correct, and wrong results or errors will result if using the file without making the necessary corrections. FSA is expected to provide an updated test file in mid-February.
