EAM: For An Asset With Foreign Currency, Accumulated Depreciation Is Not Converted To The Base Currency Of the Business Unit In Depreciation Table. (Doc ID 3000530.1)

Symptoms

 For a foreign currency BU, the asset with accumulated depreciation is stored incorrectly in Depreciation table.

 

Replication Steps:

 

1) Navigate to Menu > Asset Management > Asset Transactions > Owned Assets > Express Add and add a new asset in BU with USD base currency.

2) Select currency as INR while adding transaction.

3) Enter the cost of the asset as 1000 INR.

4) Enter accumulated depreciation as 150.

5) Save the asset and calculate depreciation.

Result:  The asset accumulated depreciation is not converted into base currency which is USD.
