LASTUPDDTTM And LASTUPDOPRID Fields Are Updated Automatically for History TER Row (Doc ID 3001202.1)

Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise HCM Human Resources - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When accessing the Job Data page and deleting the last row, the LASTUPDDTTM and LASTUPDOPRID fields are automatically updated for the history TER row.
This only happens when the LDW_OVR flag is Y.

Field LDW_OVR details:

Used to indicate whether the user has overridden the Last Date Worked - ON THIS JOB_DATES row.  It will only be set to 'Y' on the row where the date is entered, it will be 'N' on the later rows.
This allow to identify which JOB_DATES row is the row where the Date was either set or updated without having to look at the previous row.
If the LDW = ( EFFDT - 1 ) or the LDW_OVR is 'Y', then this is the row where the LDW was set - and therefore can be corrected.

Steps to replicate the issue:

1. Navigate to Navigation: Workforce Administration > Job Information > Job Data and enter EMPLID.
2. Add the a new effdt row, update the LAST_DATE_WORKED and save.
3. Delete the latest row that was just added Job Data page.
Notice that the LASTUPDDTTM and LASTUPDOPRID fields are automatically updated for the history TER row.
