ABMGT: The EMPLID Filter for Manager Self Service Persists in Employee Self Service When Cancelling Absences (Doc ID 3001281.1)

Symptoms

If a manager tries to cancel an absence for an employee, or even just enters the "Cancel Absence" page having selected a transaction, then navigates to Cancel Absences in Employee Self Service, the manager will get presented with a list of absences that are for the employee that was selected in Manager Self Service, rather than his/her own absence list.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Manager signs in to Manager Self Service home page.
  2. Click Team Time tile.
  3. Click Cancel Absences tile (is presented with a list of employee events to cancel).
  4. Open any event (can choose to cancel the event or not).
  5. Click the Home icon and navigate to Employee Self Service home page.
  6. Click the Time tile.
  7. Click the Cancel Absences tile.
  8. Instead of being presented their own absences, managers are presented with the list for the employee whose event they reviewed in Manager Self Service (Step 4).
