Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

PeopleSoft is not calculating 75% reduction in business contributions for workers over 62 years of age in an IT situation, according to the article 1.2 of Law 21/2021 of 28th of December 2021.

Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Social Security / Insurance > Reductions ESP > Reduction
Setup a Reduction ID with the Concept : "Common Contingency" and Percentage to Reduce 75
2. Navigate to Set Up HCM > Product Related > Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Social Security / Insurance > Reductions ESP > Reduction Data
Setup a Reduction ID with the Type "IT"
3. Navigate to Global Payroll & Absence Mgmt > Absence and Payroll Processing > Calculate Payroll : Calculate Payroll

Notice: Code Q-571 is calculated as 75% of code Q-500 (Employer common contingencies contribution)
Expectation is that the system would calculate the reduction automatically without the need of having the user entering the reduction manually.
