IM Extension (INAS PROF EXT) Value Entered for Parent Number in College, on Institutional Extension 4 Page, is Written as 'Null' in the .Json Instead of the Specified Value, Resulting in INAS not Correctly (Re)Calculating the Number in College Adjustment (Doc ID 3005270.1)

On the Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 2024-2025 component, an IM Extension record is populated and a value specified for Parent Number in College on the Institutional Extension 4 Page, with the value from the Number in College reported on the main application on the Parent Data tab. When invoking INAS with these parameters, the result is not as expected, as the Number in College Adjustment is shown to (still) be using the figure on the Parent Data tab rather than the override value on the Extension page.

When then producing the .json  on the IM Test Harness page using the current data, the .json shows the "ParentNumberInCollegeOverride" is populated with "null" rather than the specified override value. That explains the calculation result - because the override value is not provided in the outgoing file, College Board does not use the value in the (re)calculation.  

This override parameter should be functioning the same as in all previous aid years where it was observed to work as expected, and alter the calculation. If the value is manually populated in the file, and then processed through the connectivity tester, the calculation returned from College Board shows the correct/expected result.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Financial Aid > Institutional Application Data > Maintain Application 2024-2025, for a student previously calculated, or click 'INAS' to calculate as a 'baseline'.
2. Click 'IM' and populate a rule set.
3. Click the'Institutional Extension 4' link, and enter a value in the 'Parent Number in College' field. Enter a value different from the value on the application, so as to alter the computed result.
4. Click back out to the main page and Click 'INAS' button to re-calculate and observe results on the Computation tab, with the 'Number in College Adjustment' figure unchanged from the previous calculation.
5. In the same menu group, Navigate to IM Test Harness.
6. Click 'Generate Json File' to produce a .json with the current data just used in the calculation.
7. Click the 'Json File' link for the new file just produced, and observed the "IMRExtension" section is populated as expected, but the "ParentNumberInCollegeOverride" is showing "null".

Changes

The issue occurs after applying the 2024-2025 Aid Year Setup for Institutional Methodology (IM), which first delivered the ability to calculate the IM EFC for Aid Year 2024-2025. These fixes, originally delivered in PRP 35266241, are now incorporated in the Campus Solutions 9.2 Image, starting with Image 9.2.31.
