Classic Class Search not Working If Certain Fields are not Configured in Group Sequence #1 in Class Search Configuration (Doc ID 3005432.1)

Symptoms

When the "Class Search Configuration" (Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Curriculum Management > Class Search Configuration) is modified, specifying which fields to appear on group sequence 1 and 2 (In this example, only the Campus field on group sequence 1), the Classic Class Search not worked, no search field is displayed.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Set Up SACR > Product Related > Student Records > Curriculum Management > Class Search Configuration.
  2. Choose Class Search Profile (in this example choose STDNT).
  3. Setup the class configuration by specifying which fields to appear on group sequence 1, in this example, only the Campus field on group sequence 1.
  4. Save.
  5. As Student navigate to classic Class search – campus search field not visible under class search expand/collapse button.
