E-ES: Validation on the Minimum Number or Characters To Perform a Search Is Not Happening (Doc ID 3008034.1)

Symptoms

In Global Search, after entering 1 character only, user already gets results.
The user expected to have to enter a minimum of four character to start getting results.

"Note: PeopleSoft Search Framework requires a minimum number of characters to perform a search. The normal minimum is at least four characters plus the wildcard character."

Issue is reported following steps below:
1. Login and place the mouse cursor in the Global Search field.
2. Type just 1 character.
3. Observe that results are already returned.
