ELM 9.2: After Add an Already Enrolled Class of a Course to a Learning Plan and Attempt to Enroll in Class from Learning Plan, Receive an Error Message: A Duplicate Enrollment has been Found. This Enrollment Cannot be Processed (Doc ID 3010121.1)

Symptoms

After enroll in a class of a course, add the course to your Learning Plan, the status of the course on the Learning Plan is "Planned", not "Enrolled". Then, if attempt to enroll in the course receive an error message.

ERROR MESSAGE:

A duplicate enrollment has been found. This enrollment cannot be processed.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log in as a Learner.
2. Then add that courses to learning plan that are enrolled
3. The status for the course is still "Planned", not "Enrolled".
4, Action 'Enroll' is available to select for the course and
  once select the enrollment button, receive a duplicate enrollment error message
