After Running Batch ISIR Load (FAPSAR00), Some ISIRs Remain in Unprocessed Status, with Some of These Successfully Processed if Loaded Manually on ISIR Suspense (Doc ID 3010834.1)

Symptoms

Some student's ISIR's are remaining as unprocessed after running the batch ISIR File Load process.  The expectation is for all records to either Load or Suspend, and the FAPSAR00 cobol log file does not give any indication of why the records were not processed.

In some cases, when unprocessed students are processed on-line from the Suspense Management page, the students load successfully.    The Batch ISIR File Load process will also successfully load some ISIR groups.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Financial Aid, File Management, ISIR Import, Process ISIR's;
  2. Select a run control;
  3. Populate the run control as required;
  4. Submit the process to the process scheduler;
  5. Navigate to Financial Aid, File Management, ISIR Import, YYYY-YYYY Suspense Management;
  6. Select the EC Transaction ID / Queue Instance of the group;
  7. Note the students' ISIR's remain as unprocessed.
