Last updated on APRIL 01, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise SCM Purchasing - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When searching for a PO and then return to the Purchase Order Inquiry Search Page, the Release Number field defaults to 0. If searching for a PO that has a different Release Number, it will not be found.
The Release Number value must be deleted before the search to get the correct results.

Steps to replicate the issue:
1. Navigate to Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Review PO Information > Purchase Orders;
2. Release Number is null. Search for a PO ID;
3. PO opens. Click on Return to Search;
4. The release number is populated with 0;
5. Change the PO ID and search for it.
   The PO is not found because it has a different Release Number.
