Symptoms

The forced encoding in ISO-8859-15 (hardcoded parameter) in the AUC_CREATE_CLONE_CI component interface generates issues when opening files created in other languages on configuration in UTF8.

REPLICATION STEPS

1. Set the LANG variable to fr_FR.utf8.

2. Set the current user language to French
Peopletools > Security > User profiles > User profiles
This define the language the Analysis Export will be generated in.

3. Generate the Event Analysis Export
Sourcing > Maintain Events > Analyze Event

4. Select an event

5. Go to Analysis Export

6. The export is sent by mail. Change the Email Address and click on the Create

7. Analyses Export button.

8. Check the mail received

- English version : special characters are correctly rendered
- French version : special characters are not correctly rendered
