E-AWE/PIA/Portal/Fluid: Getting 'Not Authorized' Errors in Interaction Hub when Clicking Fluid Approval Email Notifications Link (Doc ID 3016192.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading FSCM and HCM applications, the errors below are received in Interaction Hub when clicking on any fluid approval email notifications link. Users always log in using the Portal - Interaction Hub to access both HCM and FSCM applications. Fluid-based approvals are impacted, while Classic approval pages work fine. Both FSCM and HCM are affected.

 

The functionality was working prior to the upgrade. After the upgrade, the site administrators noticed a change in the URL links.
It was observed that in the AWE portal email URL link, the "psp" entry was changed to "psc".
It was also observed that the approval request email link has "psc", even though the AWE nodes configuration and portal URL has "psp".
If "psc" is changed manually to “psp” in the URL, the link works as expected.

Replication Steps
--------------

1. Log into Interaction Hub or Portal environment.
2. Create any new workflow transaction and submit for approval.
3. Click on the link within the approval email notification.
4. Observe the error as indicated above.

 

Changes

Upgraded from HCM 9.2 PUM 38 and FSCM 9.2 PUM 39, to HCM 9.2 PUM 46 and FSCM 9.2 PUM 48, respectively.
