Close Button On Requester's Workbench Still Displays for the Users Even After Removing the Close Authority From User Preferences (Doc ID 3016728.1)

Symptoms


When removing the "Close" authority for a user from user preferences not to allow to close any requisition, system still displaying the close button on the Requester's Workbench page.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Common Definition > User Preferences > Define User Preferences > Procurement > Requisitions Authorization.
  2. Remove the "Close" Check box and save the page.
  3. Now Navigate to : Purchasing > Requisitions > Requester's Workbench.
  4. Select and requisitions.
  5. Notice that the user is still having the close option on the page.
