Review or Edit Registration is Not Working When Workflow is Set as Self Approval (Doc ID 3016757.1)

Symptoms

Review or Edit Registration function not working when workflow is set as self approval.

It starts after applying change package for Bug 36217326 (PUM 50).


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Note: In the Replication Steps, User Details / Company Names / Addresses / Emails / Telephone Numbers / Etc. are fictitious (based upon made-up data used in the Oracle DEMO Environments), any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

1. Make sure that the fix Fix 36217326 is applied in your DB. Go to PeopleTools > Utilities > Administration > Update by Update id
2. Go to Menu > Setup Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Procurement Options > Suppliers > Supplier Request System Setup. Make sure that Review and Edit is checked for:
     Registering Prospective Suppliers as New Suppliers
     Registering Supplier Profile Change
3. Go to Menu>Enterprise Components>Approvals>Approvals> Approval Process Setup. Check User Auto Approval
4. At Approval step definition. Go to Self Approval Criteria. Add a criteria definition. Apply and Save
5. Go to PeopleTools > Security > User Profile > User Profile. Add ‘Edit Supplier’ role to VP2
6. Go to Menu > Supplier > Supplier Registration > Manage Registration Invitation
7. Email received. Click on the email link. Registration starts. Enter the data and submit
8. Login as VP2
9. Go to Review/Edit Request. Registration id is not showing up for reviewing
10. Go to Suppliers > Supplier Registration > View Registration History. Status ‘Pending Approval’. It should Review/Edit first
