Symptoms

After upgrading to PeopleTools (PT) 8.60.05 and setting up 'Purchase Order Inquiry' component to 'Keyword Search' in Configurable Search, clicking the 'Return to Search' button throws an error message:

"Assignment of "<NUMBER>" to PTS_CSRCH_FV_CL.PTS_FACET_COUNT failed. PTS_CFGSRCH_CL.ElasticSearch.OnExecute Name:CopyFacetsToPage"

Note: The <NUMBER> in the message above is the total number for Purchase Orders with the status  of "Complete". Also, this error does not occur when the component is configured with 'Standard Search'.

The issue can be replicated by using the following steps:

  1. Navigate to: PeopleTools> Utilities > Manage Configurable Search.
  2. Set up Keyword Search for Purchase Orders: Purchasing > Purchase Orders > Review PO Information > Purchase Orders.
  3. Open the page and find existing data.
  4. Click on Return to Search button.
