EAR 9.2: Exchange Rate Column in Transfer Worksheet, (Item List Section, Detail 1 Tab), Shows Value Displaced to the Right Overlapping Next Column (Doc ID 3019757.1)

Last updated on APRIL 30, 2024

Applies to:

PeopleSoft Enterprise FIN Receivables - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When creating Transfer Worksheets, the Users have detected that the Exchange Rate column ('Exch Rt') from Worksheet1 tab, (Under the Item List, and Detail 1 sub-tab), is displaying its value misaligned with the column's width. Due to this, the last character seems to have crossed columns into the next one to the right: Exchange Rate Detail ('Exch Rt Dtl').

REPLICATION STEPS:

1.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a System Administrator User.
2.- Navigate to: PeopleTools > Portal > Branding > Branding System Options
    3.- Define the below values:
            - Default Branding Theme = DEFAULT_THEME_FLUID
            - Default Custom Tabs = (Blank)
            - Theme Style Type = Classic Plus
            - Default Style Sheet Name = PSSTYLEDEF_TANGERINE
    4.- Click on SAVE button.
5.- Log out of the FSCM Online Application for the new configuration to take effect.
6.- Log into the FSCM Online Application as a Receivables User.
7.- Navigate to: Accounts Receivable > Receivables Maintenance > Transfer Worksheet > Transfer Worksheet
8.- Select Business Unit US001, and click on ADD button.
9.- At the Transfer Selection tab, define the below values:
            - Customer ID = 1000
            - Business Unit = US001
    10.- Click on BUILD button.
11.- PROBLEM: Once at the Update Transfer Worksheet page, notice that the value on 'Exchange Rate' column is not displaying within the column's limits.

To gather more information concerning this scenario and its related problem, refer to the available Replication Steps PDF Document here linked containing the complete configuration and the replication steps necessary to reproduce the problem.

Users are confused, as prior to the system's upgrade, such display problem was not taking place.

The values within each column should be displayed and aligned within their own limits, and not overlapping nor crossing other columns.

NOTE: In the images/screenshots/examples mentioned and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).
