Symptoms

Running the Post Upgrade Script fails after applying PRP (PeopleSoft Release Patches) updates to the CM (Cloud Manager) instance with the following error:

Running PTCM_ENV_UPD application engine to get the list of managed environments in file managedenvironments.txt
Picked up _JAVA_OPTIONS: -Djava.security.egd=file:/dev/./urandom

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Apply the PRPs to the Cloud Manager instance. Navigation: Cloud Manager Settings tile > Manage Updates.
2. As the Root user, run the script post_upgrade_script.sh in $PS_APP_HOME/cloud/.

Changes

Applying new patches to the CM instance.
