Symptoms
After upgrading to PUM Image 49, no longer able to e-mail Payment Advices. When running Email Payment Advice (AP_EMAIL_ADV), the Message Log has an error. It appears that Notification Composer, which is a new feature that was delivered in PUM Image 49, is causing the problem.
*** Error: Processing for SetID: xxxxx, VNDR ID: yyyyyyyyyy, LOC: zzzzzz, Email ID: ****@***.com. Error Message: Email send failed (7015,371).
STEPS TO REPLICATE
1. Upgrade to PUM Image 49
2. Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Install > Installation Options > Overall link
- Under Notification Composer section, box is checked for Enable Notification Composer
3. Suppliers > Supplier Information > Add/Update > Add/Update Supplier > Location > Payables link > Payables Option page > under the Payment Notification section, the following is setup:
a. Check the box for Enable Email Payment Advice
b. Email ID field is populated
c. Payment Method = Automated Clearing House
4. Accounts Payable > Vouchers > Add/Update > Regular Entry
- Create Vouchers for Suppliers from Step 3 with Payment Method = ACH
5. Accounts Payable > Payments > Pay Cycle Processing > Payment Selection Criteria
a. Preferences page, Box for Email Payment Advice is checked
b. Bank / Method page, Payment Method = Automated Clearing House
c. Dates page, click Pay Cycle Manager link
6. Pay Cycle Manager page, pay the Vouchers
a. Run Payment Selection & Creation
b. Run Electronic Payments
c. Run Email Payment Advice
d. Click the Process Monitor Link
7. In the Process Monitor, check the Message Log for AP_EMAIL_ADV (Email Payment Advice) -- Above error will appear
