The Effective Dated Version of Clause being Used when Document is Created or Recreated is Based on Source Transaction's Begin Date (Doc ID 3024810.1)

Symptoms

System is not using the new effective dated Clause when recreating an existing document, however the newly effective dated Clause is used correctly when creating a new document from scratch.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to: Suppliers Contracts > Manage Contract Library > Clause Definition and create a new effective dated Clause.
  2. Navigate to: Suppliers Contracts > Manage Contract Library >Section Definition and create a new effective dated section.
  3. Navigate to: Suppliers Contracts > Create Contracts and Documents > Document Management.
  4. Choose an existing document then press on Re-create document.
  5. Press on View document and notice that the new effective dated clause is not used.
