E-PIA: Configurable Search- "Invalid Value" Error When Searching Multiple Required Fields (Doc ID 3024903.1)

When searching on the Setup PC Accounting Rules page (Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Project Costing > General Options > Setup PC Accounting Rules), the following error is seen for the Resource General Ledger Unit field, even though it is a valid value.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Log into PIA.

2. Navigate to Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Activate Row-level Security.

3. Select the "Permission List Level Security" radio button for Type of Security and "Business Unit" for Secured Field section (should be the default for that section).

4. Navigate to Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Security > Apply Security Setups.

5. Create a new run control and run the SEC_VIEWS AE (no parameters required).

6. Once complete, navigate to Menu > Set Up Financials/Supply Chain>Security > Unit by Permission List and grant the user ID to access to the business unit, for example VP1 and US001.

7. Then navigate Set Up Financials/Supply Chain > Product Related > Project Costing > General Options > Setup PC Accounting Rules and click the prompt for Resource General Ledger Unit and select the business unit US001.

8. Search and observe the error above.
