Maximum Fetch Configuration On Direct Reports Interface Configuration Is Being Ignored (Doc ID 3025026.1)

Symptoms

When the Maximum Fetch value is changed in Direct Reports Configuration for Promote employee and add a Setup Matrix to a manager, the following messages are displayed when checking the results:

1. Only 250 employees showing, use search to find other employees

2. Only 33 employees showing, use search to find other employees

Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Main Menu > Manager Self Service > Job Personal Information > Promote Employee
Results on the person selector search page for Promote Employee - Guided Self Service transaction.
For a manager
Sees 4 people reporting to her
 
2. Next, set this manager in a Team Matrix
Setup HCM > Common Definitions > Org Charet View > Setup Matrix Teams
 
3. Change the Direct Reports Interface Configuration maximum fetch from 250 rows to 33 rows:
Main Menu > Set Up HCM > Common Definition > Direct Reports for Managers > Direct Reports Configuration
 
4. Log in again as the manager to confirm Matrix results
The manager sees their own Direct Reports first (4 employees)

5. When the manager selects HR Forms Initiator from the ‘acting as’ drop-down, first sees:
“Only 250 employees showing, user search to find other employees”
 
6. Then clicks OK and see:
“Only 33 employees showing, use search to find other employees”.
