Symptoms

When updating the Communications Data Source adding a new Query, and trying to register the data source, receiving the following error:


File /u01/app/oracle/product/pt/ps_cust_home/files/SJDC_FINA_DS_AWARD_NOTIF.xsd is not opened or opened in wrong mode for method WriteLine. (2,627) SCC_COMMGEN.Util.CommGenUtil.OnExecute Name:WriteOutputFile PCPC:13051 Statement:238

The file was not opened correctly for the given method.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to  Campus Community > Communications > Set Up Communications > Communication Data Source.
  2. Search and select the data source.
  3. In Custom Extract Data, click on the "+" icon to add a new row.
  4. Select PS query as Type and select a Query.
  5. Click in 'Register Data Source'.
  6. Observe the error.
