Accounting Lines Created by Student Financials Do Not Balance At the Chartfield Level (Doc ID 3027819.1)

Accounting lines from Campus Solutions have been sent to the General Ledger, and journals have been created for the accounting lines.  Upon review, Finance has found there are out of balance accounting lines  from transactions posted to one student's account on a particular day.  The monetary amount from the business date balances but balancing by chartfields does not. The student account appears correct but the underlying accounting lines are incorrect.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Student Financials, GL Interface, Generate Accounting Entries;
2. Select a run control and populate the run control;
3. Submit the process to the process scheduler;
4. When the process completes, click on the Batch Publish link on the run control;
5. Submit the process to the process scheduler;
6. On Financials, create journals from the Student Financials accounting lines;
7. Note the journal balances from the monetary perspective, but not by the chartfields.
