Symptoms
Washington FLI/MLI is stopping before the taxable wage limit is met
The taxes for Washington FLI/EE, FLI/ER, MLI/EE and MLI/ER are not being deducted and the employee has not yet reached the taxable wage limit
The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:
1. Ensure the employee is "Salaried" - Workforce Administration>Job Information>Job Data
2. Ensure the employee is subject to MLI and FLI for "WA" with Resident & UI Jurisdiction checked on State Tax Data - Payroll for North America>Employee Pay Data USA>Tax information>Employee Tax Data
3. Second row is NY without the Resident & UI Jurisdiction checked
4. Tax Distribution for the employee has State NY at 100% and a second row that has WA without a percentage - Payroll for North America>Employee Pay Data USA>Tax information>Tax Distribution
5. Create paysheets - Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing USA>Create and Load Paysheets>Create Paysheets
6. Run payroll calculation - Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing USA>Produce Payroll>Calculate Payroll
7. Verify the results for the MLI and FLI on review paycheck taxes - Payroll for North America>Payroll Processing USA>Produce Payroll>Review Paycheck
